About Michelle

I know what it’s like to go from feeling broken to beloved.

From cynical to saved.

From lost to found.

God came roaring into my life twenty-one years ago. At the time, I thought I had arrived!  That faith thing was finally settled.  So it was a profound and perplexing joy to discover that life with God is not safe and settled, but an unparalleled adventure…one punctuated by deepening love, perennial doubt, and underneath it all, reckless trust in the God of all things.

It’s been a wild ride.

Today I’m a Bible teacher, a writer who usually struggles to write, an introvert who loves connecting with people, wife to the world’s most patient man, and intrepid mom to two teenage boys.  I am not in the real estate market but will admit to an extensive knowledge of local listings.  I love gardens, mountains, and other glimpses of the lavish abundance of God.  Most of all, I’m a grateful follower of Jesus Christ, who took my broken life and taught me I am beloved.  My deepest desire is to seek and share God’s glory in both the trivial and the transcendent.
